Our family friends mentioned Minakxhi's Yoga classes on Zoom to me at the beginning of the pandemic when there was a strict lockdown enforced in the UK and we were all under kind of a house arrest. Waking up at 5.30 AM on weekends did feel a bit daunting but I'm glad I signed up for it.
I suffer from body aches and fatigue because of a health condition and it had become worse as my regular exercise of swimming abruptly came to a stop thanks to the pandemic. I was unable to keep up with the class when we started and struggled with the postures. However, my aches were better and I looked forward to the weekend. Over a period of time my postures have become better as both flexibility and strength have improved. From being unable to do even simple asanas to headstand unsupported (nearly) it has been a great journey. Understanding of Yogasanas comes in many layers and it amazes me how all of us continue to learn something new in every class!
Minakxhi is a great teacher and gives individual attention to every student. She is a positive person and always encourages and supports every student. She rotates the classes with themed sets and I look forward to every class. Minakxhi's classes have been a godsend for me. I have been practicing Iyengar yoga with Minakxhi for over a year and half now. I can definitely say she is the best at it 🙂
She has immense patience and is always ready to put in her 200 percent to ensure that each asana benefits our body in the way it should. It is not just about teaching different asanas but for her it is more about doing it right and helping us understand the importance that each asana brings to the body. She makes your experience nuances and strengths of your own body which you are unaware of, which is very magical for me. It has been a boon in terms of health with a bad Thyroid gland and Lower Back. I know Minakshi from the past five years and she is one of the best Yoga instructors I have come across. Her purity of purpose is amazing, she has been a great proponent of Iyengar Yoga and the Yoga postures have really improved my physically fitness. I have joined Meenakshi's yoga batch since last 4 months.
I myself is a doctor and I knew medicines will not be helpful in long run so decided to follow holistic approach. Meenakshi gives personal attention to each and every student and also helps them to recover from their pain.
She is extremely inspirational and caring teacher. Around 5 years ago I discovered the beauty of yoga .
This came by Minakshi's yoga class.
Since this happened I feel incomplete without attending the class.
This helped me improve my day to day life postures .
Seeing me my 8 year old child wanted to join a class to.
Now that she has joined she is getting better then me!
It's also helped me get rid of my sciatica and lower back pain.
Yoga has brought joy and calmness to my life.
Also Minakshi is a excellent instructor.
She is very patient and she pays attention to everyone which sometimes is difficult in online classes.

I have been practicing Iyengar yoga under Minakxhi for close to 4 years now and that has had a very calming effect on me.Under her guidance, yoga has helped me relieve symptoms related to my sedentary lifestyle. I also benefitted from yoga during my pregnancy and post that too, needless to say Minakxhi was the driving force! She is excellent with kids and my daughter looks forward to yoga sessions with her! It has been a wonderful learning and healing experience with her.
